Terrell Shanklin is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer at the East Alton club, specializing in weight loss. A dedicated bodybuilder, he brings stage-prep discipline and a deep understanding of physique development to every program, blending strength training and practical nutrition to drive results.
Terrell became a trainer after realizing how much he enjoyed mentoring others—turning complex ideas into clear steps and watching clients’ confidence grow. He connects by building trust, communicating openly, and keeping motivation front and center so progress feels achievable and sustainable.
His mantra, “Don’t cheat yourself, treat yourself,” sums up his approach: invest in your health and do it the right way. Outside the gym, Terrell enjoys bodybuilding competitions, spending time with family, and unwinding with video games.
