Whether you’re brand new or you’ve been going regularly for years, YOGA classes at Club Fitness are for you.  So, no previous experience is necessary.  This stretching-based workout uses body weight, mats, blocks and straps to assist you in opening the muscles of the body.  And, this is your complete stretching class that works to protect your joints and balance your body.

There are a lot of reasons to try a YOGA class at Club Fitness:

– Class Design

YOGA classes support your body’s joints and musculature.  And, while YOGA concentrates on poses and endurance, it will leave you feeling calm and balanced.  Because there are so many postures and variations in YOGA, you will never be bored even if you regularly attend a class.  And, because these classes are primarily stretching routines, we recommend attending classes as much as desired but, at a minimum, once a week.  This will work to protect your body on your fitness journey.

– Benefits of YOGA

You will enjoy many benefits from regularly attending a YOGA class including:  a strong core, tone muscles, improved balance and focus, and stress relief.  YOGA classes stretch and strengthen the entire body.  But, they offer a lot of options.  They can be both introductory or advanced, depending on your needs.  So, anyone can experience a class and have a great workout.

When you leave a class at Club Fitness, you will know and feel that you had a relaxing workout, helping you to find new levels of fitness.  YOGA classes at Club Fitness will also strengthen you and help you to relieve stress.

– Fusion Classes

If you’re looking for something a little different than a standard YOGA class, then you’re in the right place.  Club Fitness takes yoga and evolves it to transform your workout, and your BODY, completely.

PILOGA, PIYO and BODYFLOW are incredible fusion classes.  PILOGA is a freestyle format (workouts planned by instructor) and PIYO is a choreographed format (workouts built by experts and delivered by our amazing instructors).  Both of which beautifully blend yoga with pilates.  BODYFLOW is also a choreographed format but it differentiates itself from the aforementioned by adding taichi to the mix.

– What to Wear?

We recommend loose fitting active wear.  Leggings, sports bra, t-shirt or tank top will do the trick.  As for footwear, you won’t need it. Go barefoot or do the class in socks.  But, you are welcome to keep your shoes on.
