Whether you’re brand new or you’ve been going regularly for years, STEP STRENGTH classes at Club Fitness are for you.  So, no previous experience is necessary.  This workout uses the bench, risers, interval training, body weight, mats, light to moderate hand weights, high repetitions and patterns that start basic and gradually build complexity.  And, while targeting the lower body, using step aerobics, and challenging the upper body, using resistance training, this workout burns a ton of calories!

STEP STRENGTH classes incorporate patterns, energy, and strength challenges.  You’ll work through a set of moves and incrementally build the complexity of them, utilizing the step.  And, our top-tier instructors will provide you with plenty of options along the way, making sure you have an effective workout, right for you.  The glutes and thighs are highlighted during the aerobics portions of the workout.  But, the entire body will feel the resistance training.  And, because there are so many options and variations in STEP STRENGTH, you will never be bored even if you regularly attend a class.  And, because these classes are both cardio formats and resistance training, we recommend attending classes once every other day but, at a minimum, once a week.  This will work to develop your athletic ability, musculature, and raise your metabolism.

If you’re looking for something a little different than a standard STEP STRENGTH class, then you’re in the right place.  Club Fitness takes STEP STRENGTH and turns it up to eleven with classes that use STEP as an inspiration to transform your workout into something completely new. 

BODYSTEP and STRENGTH are both incredible options.  BODYSTEP is a choreographed step aerobics format that takes stair training and combines it with upbeat music, squats, lunges, and weight plate exercises to create the ultimate uplifting full-body workout.  STRENGTH is a freestyle format (workouts planned by instructor) that is a full-body workout and uses light weight, high-repetition resistance training.
