POUND classes at Club Fitness are right for every BODY. If you’ve been working out regularly for years, or even if you’re brand new, you’ll love these classes. And, no previous experience is necessary. This full-body cardio jam session uses body weight, mats, Ripstix® and the open space of the group exercise studio. With those tools, you’ll channel your inner rockstar and have sweat-dripping fun playing the drums!

POUND classes focus on cardiovascular endurance, core control, and matching movements to the beat of great music!
When you enter a POUND workout, instead of listening to music, you BECOME the music in this exhilarating workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

And, because there are so many options and techniques, you will never get bored. Moreover, because these classes are primarily cardio workouts, we recommend attending classes as much as desired but, at a minimum, once a week. This will work to build your metabolism and progress you toward your fitness goal.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable fitting active wear. As for footwear, we recommend athletic shoes.
