Class Design
BODYSTEP classes focus on cardiovascular endurance, coordination, balance, and agility. When you “step” into a BODYSTEP workout, you’ll train your lower body like you never have before! This low and high-energy step aerobics workout is fun and effective. Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP™.
In a BODYSTEP workout you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs. Then, we combine athletic movements like burpees, pushups and weight plate exercises. And, the result is a fun, uplifting, full-body workout! But, do not worry! There’s heaps of options so that everyone leaves feeling successful.
And, because there are so options and techniques to step aerobics, we promise you will never get bored. Moreover, because these classes are primarily cardio workouts, we recommend attending classes as much as desired but, at a minimum, once a week. This will work to build your metabolism and progress you toward your fitness goal.

Fusion Classes
If you’re looking for something a little different than a BODYSTEP class, you’re in luck! Club Fitness offers a variety of freestyle formats that use step aerobics as an inspiration to transform your workout, and your BODY, completely.
STEP, STEP STRENGTH, and INTERVALS are perfect group exercise options. These classes use the step in creative ways and will keep you coming back for more. All of these are freestyle formats which means the workouts are planned by our instructors. STEP classes smartly change up their patterns and combinations every day. STEP STRENGTH combines the awesome cardio benefits of aerobic training with resistance training to deliver the best of both worlds. And, our INTERVALS class targets a little bit of everything! These are our ultimate variety classes. And, in them, you’ll find step training effectively blended with all manner of workout styles.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable fitting activewear. As for footwear, we recommend athletic shoes.
