If you’re new, or, you’ve been going everyday for years, the BARRE classes at Club Fitness are for you. No dance experience is necessary because BARRE classes are not dance classes. These head-to-toe workouts fuse together sculpting movements from ballet, yoga, and pilates to create long, lean, and toned muscles!
There are a lot of reasons to try a BARRE class at Club Fitness:
– Class Design
Most classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre, or in some cases a chair, is used to balance yourself while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you engage a certain set of muscle) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Unlike your Pilates and core workouts, BARRE is going to allow you to come off the ground more, providing standing maneuvers like in ballet, but still providing the same benefits.
All classes at Club Fitness are for everybody and every body. And, our instructors are experienced in providing an effective workout for all levels of physical ability. We want our classes to be open to everyone but to also challenge everyone who attends.

– Benefits of BARRE Training
The benefits of these classes are improved posture, muscle definition, weight loss, increased flexibility, and reduced stress. But, there are even more benefits of taking a BARRE class at Club Fitness. At Club Fitness, you can attend as many BARRE classes as you want at a very low price. Plus, if you want to attend any other classes to complement or mix up your routine, you can do so without paying anything extra. You won’t get that kind of value anywhere else.
At Club Fitness, you’ll get the best parts of a BARRE class without having to pay expensive studio fees. And, you can attend all of our BARRE classes for no more than our membership fee, so our classes really are open to everyone who wants to attend.
Want to see the benefits for yourself? Find a class at a Club Fitness location near you.
– What to Wear?
What to wear to a BARRE class: think yoga wear. Leggings, sports bra, t-shirt or tank top will do the trick. And, as for footwear, you won’t need it. Go barefoot or do the class in socks.
