Complete This Fitness Challenge Before the New Year!

We’ve all heard the song many, many, MANY times this holiday season so far- and you’re welcome for getting the tune back into your head… But have you heard of the 12 days of FITNESS? That’s the workout I’m challenging you to complete before the New Year! And you’ll love it so much that you’re likely to add it into your daily/weekly workout routine.

Here’s how it works- 12 exercises (NO equipment needed), you start with 1, then 2 (and repeat 1), then 3 (and repeat 2 and 1)- just like the song works down through the numbers each round. You’ll end up doing 12 rounds, burning a bunch of calories, and keeping your heartrate up throughout it. Challenge your friends for the best time!

On the 1st day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 1 30sec Plank

On the 2nd day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 3rd day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 4th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 5th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 6th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 7th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 7 Supermans, 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 8th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 8 Jumping Lunges, 7 Supermans, 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 9th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 9 straight-leg lifts, 8 Jumping Lunges, 7 Supermans, 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 10th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 10 mountain climbers (each leg), 9 straight-leg lifts, 8 Jumping Lunges, 7 Supermans, 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank

On the 11th day of Fitness, my Trainer gave to me: 11 Air Squats, 10 mountain climbers (each leg), 9 straight-leg lifts, 8 Jumping Lunges, 7 Supermans, 6 Squat Jumps, 5 BURPEES, 4 push-ups, 3 V-Ups, 2 caterpillars, and 1 30 sec plank
